Psychotherapy
Dr. Mompremier has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Client Centered Therapy (CCT) approaches. Treatment is client focused and may incorporate multiple approaches for various client goals.
Her ideal client has experienced hardships and is interesting in assessing their strengths and working together towards healthy goals to manage depression, anxiety or any stress that might impede achieving a stability. Dr. Mompremier is best at providing clients a realistic view of their struggles, how these issues developed, what factors maintain these issues, and practical steps toward change. She assesses a client's worldview/spirituality/guiding principles to use these values as a tool to motivate and navigate clients towards their ideal self. Together, client and therapist, work to dispel shame and self-defeating thoughts/behaviors that are a barrier to change and create an unhealthy self-image. The approach is direct but loving and we find that clients appreciate the sincerity.

Often finances are a determining factor when selecting a therapist. Our practice self-pay fees are $150 per session, paid by cash transfer, debit or credit card. We understand that this fee might be unmanageable for some income groups, therefore we accept a limited number of sliding scale clients depending on their income bracket.
Sliding-scale applications are also available upon request.
Dr. Mompremier is also able to practice under PSYPACT in several other states (see link). PSYPACT or the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact is an interstate legislative agreement developed to facilitate the practice of telepsychology across state boundaries. More than two dozen states have passed legislation approving the PSYPACT, which allows similarly trained therapist to practice across state lines. PSYPACT is new legislation, thus insurance networks have yet to extend coverage to providers not directly licensed in the state of the patient. However, PSYPACT is a viable option for self-pay clients who are seeking providers with specialties not readily available in their area.

insurance?
CSJ is currently paneled to provide in-network services to members of
United Healthcare, Aetna and Cigna insurance plans.
Other insurance providers may agree to provide some level of reimbursement to clients who present treatment receipts (or Superbills for out-of-network providers). This option is not always guaranteed and may require a client to negotiate payment with their insurance providers.

Employee Assistance Programs
Many employers offer EAPs or Employee Assistance Programs (i.e. Lyra, Kepro, ComPsych). These programs seek to support employees whose life situations may adversely affect their job performance. In an effort to provide proactive support the programs will pay for a limited number of therapy sessions for employees. If employees wish to continue services after they have completed all EAP assisted sessions, services can be transitioned to self-pay or to bill an insurance provider (if CSJ is credentialed with the provider). Contact your employer's HR department for procedural guidance.
